Description
A group of six vintage American comic books featuring the character Flash Gordon, published by King Comics and Charlton Comics, primarily dating to circa 1966-1967. Five issues are published by KING COMICS, displaying issue numbers 1, 3, 7, 124, and 125. The sixth issue is published by CHARLTON and marked as issue 126. Each comic displays a cover price of 12¢. One KING COMICS issue (no. 125) includes a yellow text box stating, “Flash is ambushed by the most terrifying creatures in all Mongo!” The back covers feature period-specific advertisements for items such as “Revolutionary War Soldiers,” “Mandrake the Magician and The Phantom Hi-Fi Record,” and various novelty items. Printed on paper.
Condition report:
Generally good vintage condition. Comics exhibit vibrant colors and clear printing. Typical wear consistent with age and handling is present, including minor creasing and edge wear.
