Description
A group of approximately 20-25 vintage American comic books, specifically issues of DC Comics’ “Our Fighting Forces” featuring “The Losers” (Capt. Storm, Johnny Cloud, Gunner & Sarge). These Bronze Age war-themed comics are printed on paper and exhibit typical artwork and narrative style of the period. Visible issue numbers range from at least No. 144 to No. 161, with cover dates predominantly from 1974 to 1975. Original cover prices of 20¢ and 25¢ are visible, along with the Comic Code Authority stamp on most issues. Visible cover dialogue includes phrases such as “KILL HIM!”, “DOWN HERE, LOSERS!”, and “WHEN THE LOSERS TAKE A FURLOUGH, IT’S GOODBYE BROADWAY-HELLO DEATH!”.
Condition report:
The collection is in circulated condition, showing general wear, creasing, and minor edge imperfections consistent with unrestored comics of this period.
