Description
A group of twelve vintage American comic books from the ‘Action Comics’ series, published by DC Comics, predominantly featuring Superman and associated characters on their covers. Dating from the mid-1960s to early 1970s, these issues reflect the Silver to early Bronze Age of comic art, with original cover prices ranging from 12¢ to 15¢. Each item is made of printed paper, showcasing vibrant, multi-color illustrations and dramatic text-based headlines. Visible issue numbers include No. 363, No. 370, No. 391, No. 397, and No. 401. Notable cover headlines include “THE LEPER FROM KRYPTON!”, “WHO IS THE ONLY MAN SUPERMAN FEWS?”, “THE SECRET OF THE WHEEL-CHAIR SUPERMAN”, and “SUPER-HERO BECOMES SUPER-VILLAIN IN INVADER GO HOME”.
