This group of Marvel Comics Group publications features sequential issues of The New Mutants dating from April to September 1984. The collection includes the issue marking the first appearance of Illyana Rasputin as Magik and the start of the Demon Bear storyline with art by Bill Sienkiewicz. The issues also include the first appearance of James Proudstar.
