Lot 437:
Description
BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! A pair of limited edition collectible dolls depicting the characters Tweedledee and Tweedledum, designed by Faith Wick for Silvestri Dollcrafter Classics, circa 1985. The figures feature hand-painted molded heads and hands with stuffed cloth bodies. Each character is dressed in a light blue shirt with a black neck bow, white corduroy-style trousers, and a gray cap. The collars are embroidered with the names Dee and Dum respectively. Each doll is mounted on a circular wooden base featuring a brass-tone nameplate that identifies the character, designer, and manufacturer. The lot includes the original silver-toned manufacturer boxes, hang tags, and Certificates of Authenticity. Both certificates identify the dolls as number 125 from a limited edition of 4,000.
Condition report:
Significant damage is present to the ceramic feet and shoes of both dolls, with several detached fragments included. The original packaging shows minor shelf wear consistent with age.
