The set features premium components as listed on the reverse of the packaging, including a gameboard, twelve tokens, wooden houses and hotels, a Title Deed Carousel, a Banker’s tray, play money, Chance and Community Chest cards, and dice. The box art depicts the character Rich Uncle Pennybags against a city skyline. The reverse side includes copyright dates of 1935, 1936, and 1998 by Hasbro, Inc. and indicates the set includes the winning token from the Monopoly Token Campaign.
Condition report:
The item is factory-sealed in its original clear plastic shrink-wrap. It remains in excellent, unopened condition with only minor shelf wear consistent with age. There are no visible punctures to the plastic or significant compression to the cardboard box.
