The lot includes Issue No. 79, dated September 1964, featuring the cover story The Red-Headed Beatle of 1,000 B.C.!, and Issue No. 118, dated March 1969, featuring Hippie Olsen’s Hate-In!. Both publications are printed on newsprint and retain the original 12-cent cover price and the Comics Code Authority seal. The back covers display period-appropriate illustrated advertisements for Fighting Kings Knights and American Seeds. The cover of Issue No. 118 features artwork attributed to Neal Adams.
