This lot features a pair of factory-sealed hobby boxes of 1993 Leaf Studio Baseball cards. Each box contains 36 unopened packs. The 1993 Studio set is celebrated for its high-quality portrait photography and premium glossy finish. Collectors seek these boxes for the chance to find the Mike Piazza rookie card (RC) and various Hall of Famer base cards. These hobby boxes also contain randomly inserted chase sets, including the Heritage Series, Superstars on Canvas, and the Frank Thomas Collection. While Derek Jeter is not part of the base set, his inserts from this specific Leaf production are highly desirable.
Condition report:
Both boxes are in their original factory shrink wrap featuring the repeating Studio logo. The boxes show light shelf wear and minor blunting to the corners. One box features a vintage retail price sticker on the top front panel. The shrink wrap on both boxes is mostly intact with minor scuffing and small, age-appropriate tears along the edges. One box has a more significant tear in the plastic wrap along the bottom edge. The items are sold as-is in their factory-sealed state.
