BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! Four Marvel Comics Group Deathlok the Demolisher Bronze Age Comic Books including Astonishing Tales #26

A collection of four original Bronze Age comic books published by the Marvel Comics Group, featuring the character Deathlok the Demolisher. The group includes Astonishing Tales #26 (October 1974), a major key issue featuring the first appearance and origin of Deathlok (Luther Manning), created by Rich Buckler and Doug Moench. The cover art for issue #26 bears the signature of R. Buckler. Also included is Astonishing Tales #27 (December 1974), which contains the second appearance of Deathlok and the first appearance of War-Wolf, with cover art attributed to Rich Buckler. The collection further includes Astonishing Tales #33 (January 1976), featuring the story arc titled The God Machine! with cover art by Rich Buckler. Completing the set is Marvel Spotlight #33 (April 1977), which presents the conclusion of the original Deathlok saga. This issue features cover art signed by Buckler and Janson and is a standard trade edition including a printed UPC barcode on the lower left of the front cover. All items are original US newsstand editions.

Condition report:

These comic books are raw, ungraded copies in handled condition. All issues exhibit visible spine stress, including color-breaking horizontal creases. General cover wear is present across the collection, including edge-chipping, softening of the corners, and surface scuffing typical of newsstand copies from this era. Marvel Spotlight #33 exhibits a prominent crease in the lower-right corner of the front cover. While significant wear is noted along the spine folds, the covers appear to remain attached to the staples.
