BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! A Collection of Six Silver Age DC Action Comics Featuring Superman and Supergirl, 1966-1967
This lot consists of six original Silver Age comic books from the Action Comics series, published by DC Comics under National Periodical Publications. All issues feature the circular Superman DC National Comics logo and the Comics Code Authority seal. The collection includes: Action Comics No. 344 (December 1966) featuring Supermans Nightmare Dreams; Action Comics No. 346 (February 1967) featuring The Case of the Superman Impostor with Supergirl on the cover; Action Comics No. 347 (April 1967), an 80-page Giant G33 titled Supergirl; Action Comics No. 349 (April 1967) featuring The Face of Fear; Action Comics No. 351 (June 1967) featuring the first appearance of Zha-Vam the Invincible; and Action Comics No. 352 (July 1967) featuring The Petrified Superman. The covers display the distinctive checkerboard top border. Cover prices are 12 cents for standard issues and 25 cents for the 80-page giant. Each comic is individually housed in a protective plastic sleeve with a white backing board.
Condition report:
The comics are in raw, uncertified condition, estimated to be in the Good to Fine range. Covers remain bright and colors are well-preserved. Spines show mild to moderate stress lines and some edge rubbing. The 80-page giant issue (No. 347) exhibits spine wear characteristic of its thickness. Issue No. 352 has a visible vertical crease on the right side of the front cover. Several issues show minor corner blunting and edge wear. No internal pages were inspected for defects such as cut-outs or markings.
