This is a collection of 13 raw comic books from the DC Comics series Weird War Tales, published between 1977 and 1978. The group consists of 13 issues: No. 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 61, 63, 64, 66, 68, and 69. These Bronze Age publications feature a blend of war, horror, and science fiction themes. Cover art includes work by Joe Kubert (issues 52, 55, 58, 63, and 66) and Jim Aparo (issue 53). Notable issues within the lot include No. 58, which features a cover image of Adolf Hitler, and No. 55, which includes a promotional advertisement for the Superman movie on the front cover. The lot contains two 50-cent oversized issues, No. 68 and No. 69, with No. 69 being an all science-fiction issue. Story titles featured on the covers include The Abominable Weapon, The Deathless Courier, Trial by Combat, and Rotirra–The Dinosaur Weapon.

Condition report:

The comic books are in raw, unslabbed condition and generally range from Very Good to Fine. Visible wear includes spine stress lines, color-breaking creases, minor edge wear, and softening of the corners. The covers remain attached to the staples, and the printed colors remain generally bright.
