This collection features the character The Phantom created by Lee Falk, spanning both the Silver and Bronze Ages of comics. The assembly includes three issues published by Gold Key (Western Publishing Company, Inc.) and one issue published by Charlton Comics. The Gold Key issues consist of The Phantom number 2 (10014-302) dated February 1963, The Phantom number 5 (10014-305) dated May 1963, and The Phantom number 8 (10014-308) dated August 1963. These three issues feature painted covers attributed to artist George Wilson. The Charlton Comics issue is The Phantom number 68, dated December 1975, which features cover and interior artwork by Don Newton.
