This group of 12 vintage comic books features Edgar Rice Burroughs’ Tarzan, published by Marvel Comics Group, DC Comics, and Dark Horse Comics between the mid-1970s and early 1990s. The lot is primarily comprised of Marvel’s Tarzan, Lord of the Jungle series, featuring issues 2 (Origin issue), 5, 6, 14, 22, 24, and 26, many of which feature cover art by John Buscema. Also included from Marvel are two copies of Jungle Tales of Tarzan King-Size Annual number 1 (1977) and Tarzan of the Apes number 1 from the 1984 limited series. DC Comics is represented by issue number 233, a 100-page super spectacular edition from 1974 with cover art by Joe Kubert. Dark Horse Comics is represented by The Return of Tarzan number 2 (1992) with cover art by Thomas Yeates. All items are staple-bound paper comic books and are individually housed in protective plastic sleeves with backing boards.

Condition report:
All comics are in raw, ungraded condition. The DC Comics issue number 233 displays significant ink and marker markings on the front cover area. The remaining issues generally exhibit light-to-moderate shelf wear typical for their age, including minor spine stress lines, blunting at the corners, and faint surface scuffing. No detached covers are visible, and the bindings appear secure.
