This lot consists of a pair of vintage comic books from Marvel Comics Group, titled Daredevil: The Man Without Fear!, issue number 183, published in June 1982. These are Direct Market editions, characterized by the Spider-Man mask graphic in the bottom-left corner box instead of a UPC barcode. The cover art, featuring a confrontation between Daredevil and the Punisher, is attributed to Frank Miller and Klaus Janson, with Miller’s FM initials visible on the building graphic within the top-left corner box. Copy one exhibits several minor spine stress lines (ticks) along the left edge and very slight corner softening. Copy two shows a flat spine with fewer visible ticks than the first copy. The books have not been removed from their sleeves for interior page counts or grading assessments.
