This lot features a trio of vintage DC comic books spanning the Silver and Bronze Ages. Included is Superboy No. 141, published by National Comics in September 1967, featuring the story No Mercy for a Hero! with cover art attributed to Curt Swan and Neal Adams. Also included is Giant Superboy Annual No. 1, published in 1964, which is the premiere annual issue for the title and an 80-page giant. The cover for the annual is attributed to Curt Swan and George Klein and contains multiple vignettes such as The Origin of Krypto and How Superboy Learned to Fly. The final item is Super-Team Family Volume 1, No. 1, published by National Periodical Publications in October-November 1975. Condition report:
The comic books are in raw, ungraded condition showing typical signs of vintage wear. Superboy No. 141 exhibits visible spine stress marks, creasing to the cover, and minor blunting at the corners. Giant Superboy Annual No. 1 shows significant spine creasing, edge wear, a purple ink date stamp reading APR 15 1964, and a small pencil mark on the front cover. Super-Team Family No. 1, shown from the back cover and indicia page, displays overall paper yellowing, foxing, and small chips along the bottom edge. No major cover detachment is noted.
