This collection features the first five issues of Giant-Size Conan the Barbarian, published by Marvel Comics Group between 1974 and 1975. The set consists of issues 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. These are square-bound 68-page giant issues with an original cover price of 50 cents. Issue 1, dated September 1974, is the premiere issue of the series and starts the adaptation of the Robert E. Howard novel The Hour of the Dragon. Issue 2 is dated December 1974. Issue 3 is dated April 1975. Issue 4 is dated June 1975. These comics are in raw, ungraded condition. All five issues show visible spine stress marks and color-breaking ticks. Issue 2 exhibits more pronounced wear along the spine than the other issues in the collection. Covers are generally bright with minor surface wear and some edge blunting. Issue 4 displays light color rubbing in the white area of the title. All covers appear firmly attached at the spine. No major tears, tape, or significant staining are visible.
