This lot contains 11 vintage comic books featuring Warner Bros. Looney Tunes characters, including Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, and Yosemite Sam. The collection spans several decades, with issues published between 1958 and 1978 by Dell Comics, Gold Key, and Whitman (imprints of Western Publishing). The inventory includes Bugs Bunny issue numbers 80 (1961), 107 (1966), and approximately 184 (c. 1977); Porky Pig issue numbers 59 (1958), 7 (1966), and 36 (1971); Porky Pig and Bugs Bunny issue number 84 (c. 1978); and Yosemite Sam and Bugs Bunny issue numbers 3 (c. 1972), 21 (1974), and two copies of issue number 40 (1977). The comics feature original newsstand prices ranging from 10 to 35 cents. Most issues are housed in individual protective plastic sleeves.
Condition report:
The collection is in varying states of ungraded vintage condition. Common signs of wear across the lot include spine stresses, corner blunting, surface creasing, and age-related toning of the paper. Two issues exhibit significant defects: Yosemite Sam and Bugs Bunny issue 21 has approximately one-third of the lower front cover missing, and Yosemite Sam and Bugs Bunny issue 3 shows significant spine degradation and small edge tears. One Bugs Bunny cover has a handwritten price in ink. The collection is sold in as-is condition.
