This lot comprises two vintage comic books published by the Marvel Comics Group featuring Iron Man. The first item is Tales of Suspense No. 95, published in November 1967. This Silver Age comic features Iron Man and Captain America, with a story titled If a Man Be Stone! that features an appearance by the Grey Gargoyle. The back cover includes a full-page advertisement for the Famous Artists School featuring Norman Rockwell. The second item is The Invincible Iron Man No. 85, published in April 1976. This Bronze Age issue features cover art by Rich Buckler and Joe Sinnott. The featured story is And the Freak Shall Inherit the Earth! starring Happy Hogan as The Freak. Tales of Suspense No. 95 is in Poor to Fair condition with significant physical wear and damage. A large section of the front cover is missing from the center-right edge into the artwork. The cover shows heavy chipping along the bottom edge, overall yellowing, foxing, and creasing. The spine exhibits heavy wear and color breaks. The back cover shows heavy staining and a missing piece at the top left corner. Iron Man No. 85 is in mid-to-high grade condition, estimated in the Very Good to Fine range. The cover is relatively flat with vibrant colors and minor blunting at the corners. There are light spine stress lines with color breaks and minor tanning visible on the white border areas of the cover.
