This lot features a copy of Groo issue number 12, published by Image Comics in December 1995. The comic is written and illustrated by Sergio Aragones. This specific copy features two hand-signed signatures attributed to Sergio Aragones. One signature is rendered in bold black marker at the lower right corner of the front cover. A second signature is present across the main title logo in silver-toned ink. Included with the comic is a Certificate of Authenticity issued by Northeast Comic Exchange, Inc., bearing certificate number 059 M. The document certifies that the item was personally hand-signed by Sergio Aragones at the Motor City Comicon, dated March 24-26, 1995. The certificate is hand-signed by Genie George. The comic is presented in its raw, ungraded state.
Condition report:
The comic is in overall excellent condition with bright, vibrant cover colors and a secure spine. Minor handling wear is present, including several small stress lines (spine ticks) visible along the left edge. The interior pages appear well-preserved.
