This lot consists of a collection of seven vintage Flash Gordon comic books published in the late 1970s and early 1980s by Gold Key and Whitman, both imprints of Western Publishing. These Bronze Age science fiction adventure comics feature characters created by Alex Raymond and are characterized by their painted cover art, with most attributed to artist George Wilson. A prominent horizontal crease is present across the lower-center of Whitman issue number 29.
