This collection consists of 14 comic books from the Moonshadow series, written by J.M. DeMatteis with fully painted art by Jon J Muth. The lot includes the complete 12-issue limited series published by Epic Comics, an imprint of Marvel Comics, between 1985 and 1987. Specifically, the issues are Moonshadow numbers 1 through 12. Included is the key issue Moonshadow #1 (March 1985), which marks the first appearance of the character. The collection also features two later publications from DC Comics under the Vertigo imprint: the Moonshadow #12 expanded series finale (August 1995) and the one-shot sequel, A Farewell to Moonshadow. The series is noted for being one of the first major American comic book titles to utilize fully painted interiors. All covers are illustrated by Jon J Muth.
Condition report:
The comic books are in overall very good to fine condition. Covers display vibrant color and sharp graphics. Minor defects visible upon inspection include slight spine stress lines, soft corners, and light edge wear on some issues. No major tears, stains, or detachment of covers were observed.
