This lot consists of 11 vintage comic books published by Image Comics under the Motown Machineworks imprint, all dating from 1995. The collection includes a five-issue run of The Crush (Issues 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5) with credits listed for Baron, Harris, and Jones. Also included is a four-issue run of Man Against Time (Issues 1, 2, 3, and 4) featuring work by Lewis, DiCicco, Pepoy, Quinn, Chriscross, and Martinbrough. The set is completed by Troubleman issue 2, credited to Davis, Hervey, Drost, and Jones, and Casual Heroes issue 1, with cover art credited to Steve Rude and credits to McCarthy and Stangeland. Condition report:
The comic books are in mid-to-high grade raw condition. Covers generally retain good color and surface gloss. Minor spine stress marks and small color-breaking ticks are visible on several issues, notably on The Crush numbers 2 and 3. Corners range from sharp to slightly rounded, with minimal shelf wear along the edges. There is no evidence of cover detachment or major structural defects.
