This lot consists of four Bronze Age comic books published by DC Comics from the series The Brave and the Bold. Each issue features Batman team-ups with various characters from the DC Universe. The collection includes issue number 169 (December 1980) featuring Zatanna, issue number 170 (January 1981) featuring Nemesis, and issue number 171 (February 1981) featuring Scalphunter and a Nemesis backup story. Also included is The Brave and the Bold Special (DC Special Series number 8, 1978) featuring Deadman and Sgt. Rock. All covers feature the artwork of Jim Aparo, with his signature visible on each cover. The books are presented in individual protective bags with backing boards.
Condition report:
These comics are in raw, unslabbed condition. Issue 169 presents in mid-to-high grade with minor spine stress lines and light corner wear. Issue 170 displays minor spine ticks and slight corner softening. Issue 171 shows minor spine stress and light handling wear. The Special issue exhibits a visible spine roll and color-breaking stress lines along the spine.
