A collection of 13 The Amazing Spider-Man comic books published by Marvel Comics, primarily dating from the late 1980s to the early 1990s. The assortment includes issue #301 (June 1988) featuring cover art by Todd McFarlane and the return of Silver Sable. Also present is issue #337 (Late August 1990), Part 4 of The Return of the Sinister Six with cover art by Erik Larsen. Issue #343 (January 1991) features the Punisher with Erik Larsen cover art. Issue #345 (March 1991) is titled Venom Lives! and features the first appearance of Cletus Kasady, with cover art by Erik Larsen. The group includes three copies of issue #348 (June 1991) featuring The Avengers and Sandman, and two copies of the giant-size 350th-issue anniversary edition #350 (August 1991) featuring Spider-Man vs. Doctor Doom, with art by Erik Larsen. The Round Robin: The Sidekick’s Revenge story arc is represented by issue #355 (Early December 1991) featuring Punisher and Moon Knight, issue #356 (Late December 1991), and two copies of issue #357 (Early January 1992) which features the Spider-Man 30th Anniversary logo. These later issues feature cover art by Mark Bagley. All items are presented in protective poly bags with backing boards.
Condition report:
These are raw, uncertified comic books. Issue #301 shows visible foxing and brown staining on the upper right quadrant of the front cover. One copy of issue #348 is noted as having a detached cover. The remaining issues generally appear to be in mid-to-high grade condition, exhibiting minor spine stress marks (spine ticks), slight corner blunting, and shelf wear consistent with age and handling. All items are sold as-is.
