This collection contains 15 Star Wars comic books spanning several decades of publication history from Marvel Comics, Dark Horse Comics, and the Star Comics imprint. The group includes two early issues from the original 1977 Marvel series movie adaptation: issue number 3 (September 1977) and issue number 4 (October 1977), both featuring a 35 cent cover price and art by Gil Kane and Howard Chaykin. Modern Marvel titles include Darth Vader issues number 1 and number 2 from the 2015 series by Kieron Gillen with Adi Granov cover art. The Star Comics imprint is represented by Star Wars: Droids issue number 5 (December 1987) with cover art by John Romita Sr. The Dark Horse Comics selection focuses on the Expanded Universe (Legends) era, including Star Wars: Crimson Empire issue number 5; Crimson Empire II – Council of Blood issues number 1, 3, and 6; Star Wars: X-Wing Rogue Squadron issues number 26 (Family Ties Part 1) and number 31 (Masquerade Part 4); Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic issue number 44 (Tentacles of Terror); and Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi – The Fall of the Sith Empire issue number 2. Condition report:
All comics are raw and ungraded, presented in individual protective bags with backing boards. The majority of the collection appears to be in Very Fine to Near Mint condition with flat covers and sharp corners. The 1977 Marvel issues show minor shelf wear consistent with age but remain well-preserved without visible spine rolls or cover detachment through the packaging.
