A collection of ten vintage comic books from the Karate Kid series, published by DC Comics during the Bronze Age of comics. The group includes issues No. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 15, spanning publication dates from August 1976 to August 1978. The series follows the adventures of Val Armorr, a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes, and features various guest appearances by other DC characters. Issue No. 3 prominently features the DC Comics Salutes the Bicentennial header across the top edge. Each comic is a standard-sized softcover with a stapled binding and full-color cover and interior illustrations. The covers display the Comics Code Authority seal and original retail prices of 30 cents or 35 cents. Artists identified on covers include Mike Grell and Al Milgrom. Condition report:

The collection exhibits varying degrees of age-related wear consistent with handled vintage periodicals. General defects include spine stress with color breaking, corner blunting, minor edge wear, and surface rubbing. Issue No. 6 shows a prominent vertical crease running the length of the front cover near the right edge. Issue No. 11 displays a band of brownish discoloration or foxing along the top edge of the front cover. Issue No. 3 has visible creasing at the lower right corner. Issue No. 16/3 (Bicentennial issue) shows a UPC barcode on the lower left. Pages appear cream to off-white. The lot is offered as is without professional grading.
