This collection consists of factory-sealed action figures produced by McFarlane Toys and Moore Action Collectibles in the late 1990s. The plastic figures are mounted on original carded blister packs. The assortment includes characters from the comic series Darkchylde and Dawn, as well as the anime series Tenchi Muyo!. The Ariel figure from Randy Queen’s Darkchylde was sculpted by Clayburn Moore and includes interchangeable Pennance demon arms and a display base. Figures of Ryoko from Tenchi Muyo! are part of the McFarlane Toys 3D Animation from Japan series and include the character Ryo-Ohki and a circular display stand. The figure of Joseph Michael Linsner’s Dawn is from the 1999 McFarlane Toys Ultra-Action Figures line and is packaged with a sword, various masks, and an elaborate scenic display base featuring roses and skulls. The backing cards feature promotional graphics for other McFarlane lines including Trigun, Akira, Metal Gear Solid, and Spawn. Retail price stickers from New Dimension Comics are present on several of the cards.
Condition report:
All items are factory sealed in their original packaging. The clear plastic blister bubble on the Dawn figure displays significant age-related yellowing. The backing cards show general shelf wear, including corner dings, edge wear, and slight bending at the top hanger tabs. Original retail price stickers are present on the Ariel and Dawn cards.
