An assortment of vintage rock and roll pinback buttons dating to the early 1980s. The collection includes three buttons featuring The Rolling Stones, with one displaying the iconic red tongue and lips logo and the text IN CONCERT. This button is marked along the lower rim with the copyright notice © 1981 MUSIDOR B.V. A second Rolling Stones button features multiple pink tongue logos arranged in a triangle with the band name in green script and a printed TM mark. The third Rolling Stones button features a color photographic portrait of the band members within a green border. Also included is a button for the band Triumph featuring stylized graphic art and a bright blue button for Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band depicting black silhouettes of riders beneath script lettering. Each button is constructed from metal with a printed design protected by a clear coating.
Condition report:
The items are in good vintage condition. The front surfaces show minor shelf wear and faint surface scratches consistent with age. The metal reverse sides exhibit varying degrees of surface oxidation and light rust, most notably on the Rolling Stones band portrait and In Concert buttons. All safety-pin style fasteners are present and functional.
