This is an original US theatrical one-sheet movie poster for the 1976 horror film Carrie, directed by Brian De Palma and based on the novel by Stephen King. The film was a Paul Monash production for United Artists and stars Sissy Spacek, Piper Laurie, and John Travolta, with a screenplay by Lawrence D. Cohen. The visual design features a split-image composition depicting Sissy Spacek as Carrie White in two contrasting scenes from the film’s prom climax: the top panel shows her covered in blood, while the bottom panel shows her smiling as the newly crowned prom queen.
