BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! A Collection of Seventeen Marvel Comics The Mighty Thor Bronze Age Issues and One Interior Page Fragment

This lot consists of seventeen full comic books and one interior page fragment from Marvel Comics Group’s Bronze Age publication of The Mighty Thor (Volume 1). The collection includes issues 257, 258, 260, 262 (1977); 273, 274 (1978); 280 (1979); and a consecutive run from 291 to 300 (1980). Featured cover artists include Jack Kirby on issues 257, 258, and 260; John Buscema on issues 273 and 274; and Keith Pollard on issues 262, 280, and 291 through 300. Issue 300 is a notable double-sized anniversary issue featuring the conclusion of the Celestials and Eternals saga with cover art by Keith Pollard and Joe Sinnott. The additional item is an interior splash page fragment from The Mighty Thor issue 271, featuring the title So Falls the Realm Eternal. The comics are standard staple-bound newsstand and direct market editions from the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Condition report:

The collection is in raw, unslabbed condition and generally appears to be in mid-to-lower grade. Observable defects include spine stress marks, blunted and soft corners, minor edge wear, and occasional light creasing on the covers. Page edges exhibit typical age-related toning and yellowing. Issue 271 is present as a single interior page fragment only, not a complete book. One issue shows more significant spine chipping and a small tear on the right edge. Covers generally remain attached, though some issues show wear at the staple points.
