This lot features four autographed color 8×10 photographs of notable San Diego Chargers players. The first item is a photograph of Hall of Fame wide receiver Charlie Joiner in a white jersey, number 18, signed in blue and purple felt-tip marker with the inscription: Best to you in all you do. Charlie Joiner HOF 96. Two photographs feature Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Fouts; one shows him in a white jersey, number 14, dropping back to pass, signed in black felt-tip marker, and the second is a personalized photo in a blue jersey, number 14, signed in blue felt-tip marker: To Zachary Good Luck! Dan Fouts. This second Fouts photo includes an official NFL licensed product hologram sticker with serial number A 180 50020. The final photograph is a commemorative composite titled Chargers 1998 First Round Draft Pick, signed in black felt-tip marker by Ryan Leaf and hand-numbered as a limited edition 292 / 5,000. The collection is accompanied by three handwritten informational index cards providing biographical details for Charlie Joiner and Dan Fouts.

Provenance / Authentication Note: This item originates from a single-owner collection assembled by a dedicated sports fan (with a strong focus on Notre Dame and New York Yankees memorabilia). The collector actively pursued autographs over many years through in-person events, including games, autograph shows, and visits to National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum during player events, as well as through direct mail requests to athletes and celebrities. The collection included supporting material such as handwritten correspondence sent to athletes (in some cases with payment enclosed), along with photographs of the collector with various signers. A portion of this same collection was featured in our March 21st auction, where multiple items were authenticated by James Spence Authentication (JSA). In regards to any items with signature(s): While this specific item(s) may not be individually submitted for third-party authentication, it originates from the same collection and shows consistency with previously authenticated pieces. As with many large autograph collections, there may be a small number of facsimile or clubhouse-style signatures present, but for the most part we have seen AUTHENTIC SIGNATURES within the collection. Based on the overall provenance and our review, we maintain a strong level of confidence in the authenticity of most items. Bidders are encouraged to review all photos carefully and bid according to their own level of comfort. No additional authentication documentation is included unless visible within the lot photos. Condition report:
The photographs are in good overall condition, exhibiting vibrant colors and clear, bold signatures. Minor edge and corner wear is present from handling. No formal third-party certificates of authenticity are present, with the exception of the official NFL hologram on one photograph.
