BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! Lot of Eight 1975 and 1976 Topps Baseball Cards featuring Mike Schmidt, Bob Gibson, and Reggie Jackson

This lot comprises eight raw, ungraded baseball cards manufactured by Topps in 1975 and 1976. The collection includes four cards from the 1975 Topps series: Bob Gibson (No. 150), Reggie Jackson (No. 300), Johnny Bench NL All Star (No. 306), and a 1955 Most Valuable Players subset card (No. 193) featuring Yogi Berra and Roy Campanella. The 1976 Topps series is also represented by four cards: Mike Schmidt (No. 480), Dave Parker (No. 365), Greg Luzinski (No. 270), and Tim McCarver (No. 26). The lot features several National Baseball Hall of Fame inductees and prominent players from the mid-1970s. The 1975 cards are noted for their vibrant, condition-sensitive dual-colored borders, while the 1976 cards feature the player name and team name in distinct color blocks at the top and bottom of the frame. All eight cards are presented in individual protective plastic sleeves or rigid top-loaders.

Provenance / Authentication Note: This item originates from a single-owner collection assembled by a dedicated sports fan (with a strong focus on Notre Dame and New York Yankees memorabilia). The collector actively pursued autographs over many years through in-person events, including games, autograph shows, and visits to National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum during player events, as well as through direct mail requests to athletes and celebrities. The collection included supporting material such as handwritten correspondence sent to athletes (in some cases with payment enclosed), along with photographs of the collector with various signers. A portion of this same collection was featured in our March 21st auction, where multiple items were authenticated by James Spence Authentication (JSA). In regards to any items with signature(s): While this specific item(s) may not be individually submitted for third-party authentication, it originates from the same collection and shows consistency with previously authenticated pieces. As with many large autograph collections, there may be a small number of facsimile or clubhouse-style signatures present, but for the most part we have seen AUTHENTIC SIGNATURES within the collection. Based on the overall provenance and our review, we maintain a strong level of confidence in the authenticity of most items. Bidders are encouraged to review all photos carefully and bid according to their own level of comfort. No additional authentication documentation is included unless visible within the lot photos. Please reach out with any questions.

Condition report:

The cards are in raw, ungraded condition, generally falling within the Good to Very Good range. Typical of these sets, several cards exhibit off-center printing. The Bob Gibson card is off-center towards the bottom right with visible corner rounding. The Reggie Jackson and Dave Parker cards are off-center to the right, with the Parker card showing a soft bottom-left corner. The Mike Schmidt and Tim McCarver cards are off-center towards the left edge. General wear across the lot includes corner softening and light edge wear. The Johnny Bench card shows noticeable softening at the bottom-left corner. These cards have not been inspected for back condition, surface wrinkles, or hidden defects.
