This collection consists of twelve vintage Wacky Packages stickers and two original wax wrappers produced by Topps in 1979. These stickers belong to the 1st Series re-release set. The assortment features a variety of parodies based on popular consumer goods, including No. 6 Hostage Filled Cupcakes, No. 7 Tied Detergent, No. 11 Plastered Whiskey Flavored Peanuts, No. 13 Ditch Masters Cheap Cigars, No. 17 Fish-Bone Russian Dressing, No. 18 Vile Soap, No. 30 Rice-A-Phoni, No. 40 Wormy Packages, No. 48 Piwi Blecch Shoe Polish, No. 49 Peter Pain Peanut Butter, No. 59 Sunstroke Creature Crackers, and No. 61 Contrac. Each sticker is printed on paper with a standard peel-off adhesive backing. Along the bottom edge of each sticker is the printed copyright text Copyright 1979 Topps Chewing Gum, Inc. Prtd in U.S.A. along with the specific card number. The two original red wax wrappers are decorated with the Wacky Packages Stickers logo and a yellow starburst denoting 1st Series.
Condition report:
The stickers appear to be in good vintage condition with vibrant colors and relatively sharp corners. The original paper backings remain intact and attached. The wax wrappers exhibit typical signs of being opened, including creases and minor wear at the edges, but they remain overall intact and legible.
