BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! Original 1962 Boys’ Night Out One-Sheet Movie Poster

An original theatrical one-sheet movie poster for the 1962 MGM film Boys’ Night Out. This production is presented by MGM and Joseph E. Levine, featuring a Martin Ransohoff Production and Kimco-Filmways Picture. The film stars Kim Novak, James Garner, and Tony Randall, with a supporting cast including Janet Blair, Patti Page, Jessie Royce Landis, Oscar Homolka, and Howard Duff. Guest stars listed include Zsa Zsa Gabor, William Bendix, Fred Clark, Jim Backus, Ruth McDevitt, and Larry Keating. The film was directed by Michael Gordon with a screenplay by Ira Wallach.

The poster features a two-tone design. The top section contains a black and white photograph depicting Kim Novak reclining on a bed while James Garner, Tony Randall, and two other men peek out from behind floral-patterned curtains. The center text reads: If you believe in sex and fun… by all means join us! The lower third of the poster is a solid blue field containing the film title in stylized white lettering and complete production credits in black and white. A cartoon of a suited wolf holding flowers appears in the upper right of the blue field.

The bottom margin includes the printed number 62-499 on the left and 62/227 on the right. A copyright notice for Embassy Pictures dated 1962 is present in the bottom center. The lower right margin contains the National Screen Service Corp. licensing statement. The top margin bears the handwritten inscription NRH DORM MOVIE in black marker. The reverse side features a blue ink stamp reading BOYS’ NIGHT OUT 1 SH. 62/227 and a handwritten circled 3.

Condition report:

This poster is in used condition and shows standard fold lines from theatrical distribution. Significant condition issues include handwritten marker text across the top white border and adhesive tape residue with associated staining in the center image area over the word join. There are small punctures and tears visible, most notably on the right edge near the cartoon and near the bottom right corner. General wear, creasing, and light foxing/staining are present throughout, consistent with age and theater display. General wear is visible along the fold lines and at the cross-fold points.
