BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! A Collection of US Lincoln Cents in Plastic Tubes, 1950-1959

This lot consists of a collection of US one-cent pieces housed in translucent plastic coin tubes. The collection primarily contains Lincoln Wheat cents produced between 1950 and 1958, as well as the 1959 issue which features the Lincoln Memorial reverse. The tubes are identified by handwritten labels on the lids, indicating dates and mint marks including 1950, 1950-D, 1950-S, 1951, 1951-S, 1952, 1952-S, 1953, 1953-D, 1954, 1954-D, 1954-S, 1955-P, 1955-D, 1956, 1956-D, 1957, 1957-D, and 1959. The coins are struck in a copper alloy. One specimen shown in an open tube features the Lincoln obverse with inscriptions IN GOD WE TRUST and LIBERTY. This collection captures the final years of the Wheat reverse design and the inaugural year of the Memorial reverse.

Condition report:

The coins appear to be in mixed condition ranging from circulated to uncirculated. Several rolls exhibit original copper luster, while others show varying degrees of reddish-brown toning and surface wear consistent with age. No evidence of professional cleaning is observed. The plastic storage tubes show typical shelf wear and aging of the adhesive labels.
