This is a vertical service station advertising thermometer for Delco Dry Charge batteries, likely dating from the mid-20th century. The sign features a white background with a black and yellow graphic layout. At the top, a stylized illustration of a Delco battery is present with text reading DELCO DRY CHARGE BATTERY. The central portion of the sign contains a temperature scale ranging from -50 degrees Fahrenheit to 130 degrees Fahrenheit. The lower section displays the Delco circular logo, the tagline FOR QUICK STARTS IN ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS, and a faded simply Delco logo at the bottom. The piece is marked MADE IN U.S.A. on the face. It is constructed of metal with a porcelain enamel finish. The reverse features a wooden reinforcement block attached to the back for stabilization.

Condition report:
The item is in fair vintage condition with signs of age and wear consistent with outdoor use. The glass thermometer tube is missing; however, the four small mounting screws that originally held it in place are still present. There is significant oxidation and rust around the perimeter edges and at the mounting holes. The lower portion of the sign shows heavy fading to the red Delco lettering and some enamel loss. Various scratches, minor dings, and surface abrasions are present throughout.
