This lot comprises 14 original issues of Playboy magazine published by Playboy Enterprises, Inc. dating from January 1990 through November 1996. The collection includes the January 1990 Holiday Anniversary issue with Joan Severance and a Tom Cruise interview; the June 1993 Playmate of the Year issue featuring Anna Nicole Smith; the July 1993 issue with Roseanne and Tom Arnold; the January 1994 40th Anniversary Collector’s Edition with cover art by Ed Paschke; the April 1994 Girls of Hooters issue featuring a Howard Stern interview; the September 1994 Rockers issue with Stephen King and Dave Barry; the January 1995 Music Issue; the May 1995 issue with Nancy Sinatra; and several 1996 issues featuring subjects such as the Women of the Olympic Games (August), the Girls of the Big Ten (September), Samantha Fox (October), and Donna D’Errico (November). Condition report:
The collection is in good to very good vintage condition. The covers generally retain their original gloss, with minor surface scuffing noted on the black cover of the January 1994 issue. Spines show light to moderate shelf wear and minor stress marks near the staples. There is minor corner bumping and edge wear across the lot. Interior pages exhibit light natural toning consistent with paper age. All issues appear to be complete from external inspection.
