BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! US 1971-1986 Bicentennial Philatelic-Numismatic FDC Collection and Ephemera

A collection of United States philatelic and numismatic items, primarily focused on the American Revolution Bicentennial. The grouping includes multiple Bicentennial First Day Covers from 1973, 1974, 1975, and 1976, each containing a commemorative medal and associated stamps. Featured issues include the 1973 Boston Tea Party block (Scott #1480-83), the 1975 Continental Army and Navy series (Scott #1564-67), and the 1976 Declaration of Independence strip of four (Scott #1691-94). Cancellations consist of First Day of Issue circular date stamps and machine cancels from various locations including Philadelphia, PA, and Boston, MA. Also present is a 1972 commemorative medal holder containing a block of four 8-cent Colonial American Craftsmen stamps (Scott #1456-59). Additional material includes a 1971 US Postal Service inauguration cover with an 8-cent stamp, a 1986 Safe Driving cover with a strip of 11-cent stamps, and a Victorian-era trade card for Orchilla Guano AA issued by R.A. Wooldridge and Company of Baltimore.

Condition report:

The collection is housed in original commemorative envelopes and folders. Stamps and medals appear in fine condition within their respective holders. Outer mailing envelopes show light toning, minor corner bumping, and adhesive residue from labels consistent with age and storage. Cancellations are generally crisp and legible. The late 19th-century trade card shows minor surface wear and rounding at the corners.
