BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! Telemania Mallard Duck Decoy Novelty Telephone

This vintage novelty landline telephone is designed in the form of a mallard duck decoy. The manufacturer mark Telemania is printed on the woodgrain-patterned faceplate located on the underside of the duck body. The unit is a one-piece handset integrated into the body of the decoy. The underside features a twelve-button push-button keypad and a sliding switch for selecting between pulse and tone dialing modes. Technical information printed on the base indicates the item was manufactured in Taiwan and complies with FCC Part 68 rules, with FCC registration number DB-2TF6-12588-TE-E and ringer equivalence of 1.0A. The duck is constructed from a painted composite material with mallard plumage colors including a green head, yellow bill, and brown and white body accents. It includes a standard modular coiled telephone cord with an RJ11 connector.

Condition report:

The item is in fair cosmetic condition. There is prominent paint loss and chipping along the bottom perimeter of the base and on the tip of the yellow bill. The painted surfaces show numerous scuffs, scratches, and abrasions consistent with age and previous use. The telephone cord is present but appears tangled. The functional status of the electronic components has not been tested.
