This Adirondack Personal Model baseball bat is constructed of natural wood and features the autograph of Hall of Fame pitcher Fergie Jenkins. The signature is rendered in blue ink on the barrel and is accompanied by four hand-written career achievement inscriptions: HOF 91, 1971 CY YOUNG, 3,192 K’s, and 49 SHUTOUTS. The bat includes the standard Adirondack center brand mark with the MADE IN USA text and is stamped ADIRONDACK and PERSONAL MODEL in black block lettering on the barrel. Authentication is provided by two separate entities. A circular Reggie Jackson Authenticated hologram sticker with the serial number 40501 is affixed to the barrel. Additionally, a PSA/DNA tamper-evident oval hologram sticker with the serial number H72255 is located on the knob of the bat.
Condition report:
The bat is in excellent, display-grade condition. There are no visible signs of game use, such as ball marks, pine tar, or handle cracks. The wood surface is smooth with a clear grain, and the blue ink signature and inscriptions remain bold and legible without significant fading or smudging.
