Description

This is a Department 56 hand-painted porcelain lighted building replica from the Christmas in the City Series, modeled after the historic Yankee Stadium facade. The piece features a detailed brickwork-style exterior with architectural elements including arched windows, silver-toned eagle medallions, and a central sign reading YANKEE STADIUM. The base includes four ticket booths with individual ticket signage. The building is decorated with American flags and patriotic red, white, and blue bunting. The reverse side of the facade features a printed informational display panel titled NEW YORK YANKEES. This panel includes a brief history of the stadium and two lists: MOST VALUABLE PLAYER recipients from 1936 to 1985 and WORLD SERIES TITLES from 1923 through the 2000 Subway Series. The item is marked with the Department 56 logo and item number 56.58923 on the original packaging.
