This vintage Chicago White Sox bobblehead, also known as a nodder, belongs to the gold base mascot series produced during the 1960s. The figure is constructed of composition material and features a hand-painted boy mascot with reddish-brown hair and a smiling expression. The figure wears a white baseball jersey with blue trim at the sleeves and neck, along with a blue baseball cap featuring a red and white logo. A decal on the front of the jersey reads WHITE SOX in blue block letters. The mascot is depicted holding a tan-colored baseball bat and is mounted on an oval gold-painted base. The front of the base features the city name Chicago in black script. The item is in fair to good vintage condition with visible signs of age and wear. There is significant paint chipping and loss on the blue baseball cap, particularly on the crown and brim. Cracking and crazing are present in the paint around the neck area. The WHITE SOX decal on the jersey shows minor edge wear and slight peeling. The gold-painted base exhibits surface scuffing and minor abrasions. General surface dust is present throughout.
