This is a vintage molded plastic decorative figure of Hall of Fame pitcher Warren Spahn, produced by Hartland Plastics. The figure depicts Spahn in his iconic high-leg, overhead windup delivery pose. He is dressed in a period-correct Milwaukee Braves home uniform from the mid-20th century, featuring a cream-colored jersey with red piping and the red tomahawk logo. The team name Braves is rendered in red script across the chest. The pitcher’s number 21 is displayed in red on both the front and back of the jersey. The figure wears a navy blue cap with a white letter M and a green under-brim. A brown fielder’s glove is molded onto the right hand. The item is constructed with a flat, hollowed-out reverse side, designed for wall mounting or display. Condition report:
The item is in good vintage condition with wear consistent with age. There are several areas of paint loss on the high points of the mold, most notably on the glove, the tip of the nose, the cap brim, the knees, and the toes of the shoes. Minor surface scuffs and small dark marks are visible on the cream plastic. The reverse side shows light surface grime and minor scuffing. There are no visible cracks or structural repairs.
