Lot 235:
Description
BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! This lot contains two vintage autographed baseball cuts, each accompanied by its respective James Spence Authentication (JSA) Basic Certification card. The first item is a circular cream-colored paper cut signed by Bobby Thomson in black ink. It features JSA certification sticker CF97732 on the lower portion of the cut. Thomson is historically significant for hitting the game-winning home run for the New York Giants in the 1951 National League playoff, known as The Shot Heard Round the World. The second item is a rectangular white paper index card cut signed by Dolph Camilli in blue ink. This piece features JSA certification sticker CF97738. Camilli was the 1941 National League MVP while playing for the Brooklyn Dodgers. Both autographed pieces are mounted on larger white backing cards for display and protection. The lot includes the two matching JSA Basic Certification cards and two temporary identification sticky notes.
Condition report:
Both signatures are clear and bold with no significant fading. The paper cuts show minor natural toning consistent with age but remain well-preserved. The mounting cards are clean and free of significant wear. The certification cards are in good condition.
