David Cone Autographed New York Mets Pitching Photograph This autographed color photograph depicts New York Mets pitcher David Cone in mid-delivery on a stadium pitcher’s mound. The subject is shown wearing a pinstriped New York Mets home uniform with the number 44. A bold signature in purple ink is located in the lower right quadrant of the image. The photograph includes a James Spence Authentication (JSA) tamper-evident sticker in the bottom right corner with certification number CH61235. Provenance / Authentication Note: This item originates from a single-owner collection assembled by a dedicated sports fan with a strong focus on Notre Dame and New York Yankees memorabilia. The collector actively pursued autographs over many years through in-person events, including games, autograph shows, and visits to National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum during player events, as well as through direct mail requests to athletes and celebrities. The collection included supporting material such as handwritten correspondence sent to athletes (in some cases with payment enclosed), along with photographs of the collector with various signers. A portion of this same collection was featured in our March 21st auction, where multiple items were authenticated by James Spence Authentication (JSA). Condition report:
The photograph is in excellent condition with no visible creases, tears, or surface wear. The signature remains bold and clear. The authentication sticker and certificate card are both present and well-preserved.
