A collection of four Japanese baseball trading cards produced by BBM (Baseball Magazine Sha) featuring Shohei Ohtani during his tenure with the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters. This group highlights Ohtani as a two-way star in his early professional career. The collection includes the 2013 BBM 1st Version #183 rookie card depicting Ohtani pitching, featuring a blue rookie shield logo. Also included are two cards from the 2013 BBM Rookie Edition set, both numbered #RP18, consisting of the pitching version and the batting variation, each identified by a pink rookie shield logo. The fourth card is a 2014 BBM Rookie Edition Then and Now insert card, which features Shohei Ohtani alongside teammate Hiromi Oka. The cards are in ungraded, raw condition. Visual inspection suggests the collection is in Near Mint to Mint condition. Centering appears well-balanced across all examples, with the #183 base rookie showing particularly strong centering. Corners are sharp and crisp with no visible blunting. Edges are clean and free of the chipping often associated with dark-bordered Japanese issues. Surfaces appear to retain original gloss without significant scratches or indentations visible through the holders.
