Description
BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! This is a professionally graded 1955 Bowman baseball card featuring Hall of Famer Nelson Fox, number 33, of the Chicago White Sox. The card is part of the iconic horizontal wood-grain border series designed to resemble a mid-century television set. The front of the card displays a color photograph of Fox in a fielding position on a baseball diamond, complete with a FOX nameplate and a graphic representation of a television dial labeled Color TV at the top. The reverse side of the card includes biographical information, a section titled My Favorite Memories in Baseball, and statistical tables for both batting and fielding records. The card is encapsulated in a black-bordered SGC (Sportscard Guaranty, LLC) holder with a green identification label. The grading label provides the certification number 8219047-053.
Condition report:
The card is graded 80 EX/NM 6 (Excellent/Near Mint) by SGC. The centering on the front is shifted toward the right edge, while the reverse centering is shifted toward the top-left corner. The surface remains bright with vibrant colors on the front and clear, legible printing on the reverse. The plastic slab shows minimal signs of handling wear.
