This lot consists of approximately 35 baseball cards primarily featuring players and managers of the New York Yankees. The collection spans several eras from the early 1950s through the early 1990s and includes a mix of original vintage issues, modern reprint and archive cards, and multiple autographed examples. Represented brands include Topps, Bowman, Donruss, Fleer, Classic, and Goudey.
Key original vintage cards include a 1963 Topps Joe Pepitone number 183, a 1969 Topps Mel Stottlemyre number 440, and a 1983 Topps Dave Winfield number 60. The collection also features vintage-style reprints such as a Lou Gehrig 1933 Goudey number 92 identified as a Dover Reprint, an Elston Howard 1954 Topps Archives issue, and a Casey Stengel 1953 Topps Archives card noted as a Card That Never Was.

Provenance / Authentication Note: This item originates from a single-owner collection assembled by a dedicated sports fan (with a strong focus on Notre Dame and New York Yankees memorabilia). The collector actively pursued autographs over many years through in-person events, including games, autograph shows, and visits to National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum during player events, as well as through direct mail requests to athletes and celebrities. The collection included supporting material such as handwritten correspondence sent to athletes (in some cases with payment enclosed), along with photographs of the collector with various signers. A portion of this same collection was featured in our March 21st auction, where multiple items were authenticated by James Spence Authentication (JSA). In regards to any items with signature(s): While this specific item(s) may not be individually submitted for third-party authentication, it originates from the same collection and shows consistency with previously authenticated pieces. As with many large autograph collections, there may be a small number of facsimile or clubhouse-style signatures present, but for the most part we have seen AUTHENTIC SIGNATURES within the collection. Based on the overall provenance and our review, we maintain a strong level of confidence in the authenticity of most items. Bidders are encouraged to review all photos carefully and bid according to their own level of comfort. No additional authentication documentation is included unless visible within the lot photos. Condition report:
The collection varies in condition based on the era of the cards. Modern cards and reprints are generally in Near Mint to Mint condition. Original vintage cards, such as the 1963 Pepitone, 1969 Stottlemyre, and early 1970s issues, show signs of age including minor softening of corners, edge wear, and varying centering. The 1963 Pepitone card exhibits centering favored to the right with minor wear on corners and edges. Autographs appear bold and clear. Note that the autographs have not been formally authenticated by a third-party service.
