Lot 380:
Description
BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! This lot consists of an assortment of vintage baseball cards, predominantly manufactured by Topps, dating from 1962 through 1973. The collection includes notable players such as Hall of Famers Bert Blyleven (1972 Topps number 110) and Luis Aparicio (1970 Topps number 360), as well as Carlton Fisk (1973 Topps number 193) and Tug McGraw (1972 Topps number 235). The cards represent various years and designs including 1962 (wood grain border), 1969 (circle icon design), 1970 (gray border), 1971 (black border), 1972 (arched team name), and 1973 (white border). Other identified cards include Zorro Versalles (1962), Lenny Green (1962), Ed Kranepool (1969), Pat Dobson (1971), and Dave Johnson (1970 and 1972). The collection also contains unmarked Topps checklists from the 1972 3rd and 4th series. All cards are housed in individual protective top-loaders or semi-rigid sleeves.
Condition report:
The cards are in raw, ungraded condition. Corners range from sharp to slightly rounded across the lot. Centering varies significantly; while some examples appear well-centered, others show typical period shifts, such as the 1973 Carlton Fisk which is off-center toward the top-left. Original surface gloss is retained on many specimens. Edges generally show standard factory cuts for the period. Several protective holders have adhesive price stickers or handwritten ink notations on their exterior surfaces; these markings are located on the holders and not on the cards themselves.
