This is a 1971-72 Topps basketball trading card featuring Hall of Famer Pete Maravich of the Atlanta Hawks, identified as card number 55. The front of the card displays a color photograph of Maravich in his team jersey holding a basketball against a yellow background. The front includes vertical text reading ATLANTA on the left and PETE MARAVICH HAWKS’ GUARD on the right. The reverse of the card provides Maravich’s height, weight, school (L.S.U.), and birth date, along with a biographical paragraph and his 1970-71 professional statistics. Condition report:
The card is in ungraded condition and is housed in a semi-rigid protective sleeve. The centering on the front is shifted toward the top and left borders, while the reverse is shifted toward the top and right. Corners appear relatively sharp with very minor soft wear at the tips. Edges show minor factory-cut roughness characteristic of this production era. The reverse side displays natural age-related browning and toning of the cardstock. No creases or significant surface indentations are visible in the provided images.
